Has anybody encountered any bugs (or not so pretty things)?
I'm planning to update The Scourger to version 1.01 soon, so I'd like to squash all bugs known to mankind in this DMOD.

I'm already planning to do:

-Make the "C" button availeble for all 'time challenges'.
-I got a PM about a bug somewhere in world 4 when trying to get back to the goblinworld after having completed that part. (So don't try going back untill version 1.01!! )

I haven't seen any bugs so far but I was wondering if I could use some of your graphics and scripts from The Scourager and Quest for the Gems for my dmod?

Any fool can use a computer. Many do.
Yeah, from what I remember the button for throwing an item doesn't update the statusbar.

All of the graphics in The Scourger are either not made by me, or made by modifying existing dinkgraphics. So you could obviously use the ones I made.
And the scripts are uncommented so they're not so easy to read, but if you can find use for them, sure use them. (I could even send you the uncompiled scripts from Quest for the Gems if you like)

Thanks about the buttonbug, that should be easy to fix.

That would be cool. If you could email them to me it would be cool.

I got them., so thankyou. I'm still new at this so I like to look at scripts so I can learn how to do things. I'm also a bit of a computer science geek so just looking at code is fun for me. When I'd asked for the use of them, I hadn't realised they were in .d format. i'd assumed they were in .d format (like is the case for the Scourager).

I've found a verry irritating bug in the underground city where you have to block the water with a rock. When Dink places the rock I get stuck and can't move. It's verry irritating because I can't continue with the game. Can it be fixed? By the way maybe it's my fault or something but I don't realy think so it's just wierd that no one else had trouble with this, as far as I know.

Yes that's strange indeed. I can't find any bug in the script that could leave you frozen...

I'm not frozen at that part but stuck by hardness. I can face north east south west but can't go anywhere.

I don't know whether it's a bug, but I had futz around to enter the mayor's house and the cook's house in the town where they fry things. The doors don't work like other doors. But it could just be me 'cause I don't know what's going on.

It went right now I walked realy slowly and carefully towarts the place maybe that has got anything to do with it. But now I've finished the game it's realy good it cheared me up when I played it only the end could have been better.

That's all I needed to say about it.

The only thing I can imagine (at the moment) that caused the bug would be that the hardbox of the invisible sprite I use to block of the way when you've got the stone in place has a different size.

And yeah, I knew the end would be slightly disapointing, but I just wanted to finish it.

Yeah I already thought that you just wanted to finish it. I had the same thing in The Treasure Battles, I made the endboss just like seth and if you would return to the screen where he is you would just fight him again. Only in this case it didn't realy matter because the whole game was also quite crappy. But you could make a better end some day because it would be nice if such a nice game would also have a nice end.

Some of the doors in the desert are difficult to use. as far as I remember in the western part of the village. There was also a hardness bug in the maze at the end. I walk near the border of the way, on the next screen I was outside the way and couldn't come back, even when returning to the screen before. And there was a sort of strange behavior after defeating the red wizard. I came on an island with the "Dink Smallwood" stone. As I touched it, i warped back to martridge village. But there was nothing to do or to talk with ??

Yep, I had those problems too... although I don't remember having problems with doors...

at the end Is that the screen before the ruins and the screen with the ruins? I'd like to know where to look. Also where you playing v1.07 or 1.08?

About the warping stone... I'll look into it, I've never encountered it.

I don't know about the doors. Moving them down one pixel might help, I just don't know why it works for some people and not for others...

I played The Scourger with v1.07

As for the hardness error I encountered... I can't really remember where it is... I think I noticed it when entering a new screen, and I think it's nowhere near the ruins, even if it's in the maze. Not sure if Hoki was talking about the same hardness error, though.
