New D-Mod: The Treasure Battles
Erwin, whose name reminds me of a hot dog, has released a D-Mod entitled The Treasure Battles. The description says something about Dink joining some treasure battles, but I was hoping for something along the lines of treasure chests spewing forth gold coins and potions of hate at each other. Which reminds me of tossed salad. I seem to be hungry today.
Not bad! The landcape's a bit empty, but this dmod is pretty original, and I didn't find many bugs. I'll forgive the typo's.
*winces, then throws Punctuation Handbook at DaVince*
I haven't finished playing it yet but I'm having fun so far.I'm super impressed for a first dmod too.Wow!
I liked playing my own D-Mod becourse I like fighting. I find it fun to play and that is in my opinion the most important thing about a game. There are some mistakes in it and there are scripts totaly copied but I don't realy care its just fun. But I don't understand why Quiztis find it hard to get the skullkey (or you just have a fast computer) I find it easy enough. It's just letting the bonca's kill eachother and kill the queen bonca with fireball.
You could also improve:
- Intro screen
- Empty landscapes...
- Spelling. (Or speling?)
- Hardness curve (in other words, it gets too hard too soon!)
The rest is good.

I disagree with that, but the occassional enemies with 20+ more defense than others are annoying.

Well, I like strong enemies if they can still be defeatet Oh and I don't know how to improve my intro screen. Well I could try harder but I gues I need something else than paint.
I use paint too for my intro screens, but they don't look THAT bad. Some pointers:
1. Download some cool fonts for use in your intro screen.
2. When placing text, you can put it in twice, the second one a tiny bit on a different position, and the front part lighter than the back part for a shadow effect on your text.
3. You can turn fonts a bit, like 30 degrees, for another effect.
4. You can put in objects that have something to do with the game (like copying an object bmp and pasting it in your intro screen).
