Hopefully he didn't stay there to watch the storm... I have to imagine many people living in Pascagoula would die due to the storm surge

In my (limited) experience, real life hurricanes ripping up the country around you are a helluva lot more dangerous than stories posted on the internet.

I, too, was thinking about him while preparing for Ozzfest the other day... I hope he, Mr. Brown, Charli (some cutie I met in Florida last year, who lives in Louisiana), my grandparents, and anyone else of relevance to me/us is ok.

Anyhow, I just read that Mississippi didn't suffer too much flooding, but did have a lot of wind damage + the initial surge (somewhat similar to a Tsunami; in Biloxi, boats were floated 200 feet inland.) Makes sense; the flooding in New Orleans happened because the city is lower than sea level (or at least lower than the level of Lake Ponchatrain.)

Yeah, I've been wondering about Vortex lately too.It's hard to have fun when you know Vortex is probably starving on some rooftop,shooting at looters and getting heatstroke.I wonder if we'll ever see him here again.
