Am I the only one who uses this?

I find it saves me a lot of time when I'm mapping. It sorely needs to be updated, but if no one is going to care (except me), I'm not going to bother...

I don't use it... I don't think I've ever tried it actually. Saying that, I expect it's more accurate (if time consuming) to do the hardness yourself.

Mmmm, pizza.
I don't use it either, but as with most advanced dev files, they don't get used often. Dink's Trunk? Cooltext? I've never seen them in use.

So yes, I think you're the only one who uses it

EDIT: Never seen them in use, except for the demo they came with, of course

Any fool can use a computer. Many do.
To create a hardbox around a house through a script. But yeah, I must say I don't use it either

I prefer to use the house-specific hardness tiles in my Hard.dat rewrite. Usually, you can get the hardness to match with the house almost exactly.

i use red potions, as in dink blackwood.

Ach. That is a good way to do it. Unfortunately, I like my tiles, and even if I didn't I'm still too lazy to change over...

No, I cut and paste the geometrically based shapes in the hardness selection.

I remember when WDE had a hardness drawing tool - you could define a polygon (up to 5 sides I think) and then it would try and fill in the shape you'd drawn with hardness tiles. But it used to crash... (this was version0.8 I think). Just had a look in ver 1.4 and couldn't see it there.

I say bring back that tool if you can...

It is still there... while in Hardness Editing Mode, hold in the Shift key and click for each corner of the 4-sided shape.

Hey Milo, how does this work, exactly? I never wanted to use it because the idea of having a few extra sprites on the same screen seemed like a bad idea... but...

I'm not sure if you already do this, but what if you just create one sprite, and use draw_hard_sprite to draw the hardness? draw_hard_sprite seems to only draw new hardness, without removing the old.

Yes, I use draw_hard_map in the main script.
