I was looking for a tool to easily run my d-mod by just click on a shortcut or something. Instead of going through the frontend i mean. I saw a run.exe thing in the downloads section, but it does not work. It says it cannot find the dmod dir and then list the name but one letter short of what it should be. If anyone has any idea on how to make something like this work that would be great.

Try reDink 0.04 (not the person, the program). It has a file called reDmod.exe. Copy or drag it into your dmod folder. Next double click it and your dmod will run.

My program "PlayThis" does much the same thing by letting you double click a DMod.diz file to run that d-mod. Unfortunatly PlayThis doesn't work so great under Windows XP.

I think run.exe is the same program CEdit makes, and don`t use redink 0.04, I used this one on World of dinkc and the end boss got screwed up because of something, I don`t know actually.

Well with reDmod you double click the reDmod icon and the dmod runs... and it DOES work with Windows XP.

I know, but it screwes up some commands in DinkC
*EDIT*
Try create the file with CEdit, I did that for some years ago

Mmmm, pizza.
Or you can create a shortcut to the dink.exe, and add the -game parm manually. It's not very user-friendly though.
