Anyone Like Discworld?
I think the topic says most of it.
Me and my mate DuckFriend are doing our own stories that are inspired by it. If you are interested in reading them respond with your email so that we can send them to you.

Hey, thats my mate yours making light hearted fun of! Lol, don't worry, I give him worse and all he does is curl up in a ball and cry like a baby...
Oh, and I think DraconicDink whnts to know what you mean by that exactly...or at least, i would presume hes not too sure, as I am not either.
Cheers, and remember - Keep ferrets out of your nose!!

You talk about yourself in third person? That's creepy...
Ontopic: Since I don't know what Discworld is, I can't say anything about it.

EKK!! it is creepy, I thought it was me, Duckfriend signed in then, not DraconicDink still...what a stupid mistake! Mind, you I called myself "Duckman" before I modified this...oh dear I need sleep

Whilst Discworld has some amusing moments, a lot of it is quite dull. And Terry Pratchett gives m the creeps... ugh.
I love the character of Death in there. He's definitely awesome... in the christmas spirit, I can recommend "Hogfather" to everyone around.
Other than that, the neverending wittyness does get a bit overpowering and tiring at some point..

Actually me and DuckFriend are flatmates. I just forgot to log out of DinkNetwork when I gave the comp to him and since he forgot to log out last time he was here he thought he was the one logged in. That was not actually me postying that "third person" message.
Oh yeah, Death is excellent. I can't abide with those witches, however.
Heh, I suspected such a thing
Either brothers or this.

Discworld rocks!!
I like Sam Vimes best.

Sam Vimes is indeed a brillant character, but I like the wizards most of all, and Ponder more still...and DraconicDink loves you for liking Vimes.
The librarian. Ook ook.
And Dribblers food that was mistaken for an assasination attempt when that diplomat ate one.
I thought of makeing a chest with a whole bunch of legs on it, but when its only 50 pixles high you'd never see them.

Yeah! The watch sub-series is the best I think. Vimes, Carrot, Colon, Nobby, Detritus and Angua are so cool!
"too much caffeine = bouncy,bouncy,bouncy"
Hah, that one actually made me giggle

I've never actually read any of it, but I did play Discworld Noir (not available in America, but I downloaded it).
Discworld Noir isn't true to the series. It has completely the wrong style.
Well if you are interested I should have a preview of my first Grimeworld (my Discworld inspired world) by hew years, so pm with your email if you want to read it. Constructive critism would be appreciated and is the reason I believe in releasing previes and betas/demos/alphas (whatecer you want to call it).
Whilst no being typically Discworld, Discworld Noir is still excellent. Not that I played through much of it. But still...
