ok, it's driving me nuts. i've found all the knights, but i can't lay mr. fiery knight to rest because i can't find this water. i was reading another post and it said you had to kill a spider thing. i swear i've killed everything like fifty times. what's a spider thing and why can't i figure this out? it's driving me bonkers!!

p.s. yeah! this is my first post. now i know i truly have problems.

I think the spider thing is that wheel with spikes I'm not sure how are they called
But what do you need water for?? I can't find a place where I might need it...

There's a fire you have to put out in the shadow world. And yes you collect water (from the fountain) in a spike shell.

I haven't been able to pick up one of the shells. All she does is say "It's hollow." Anybody know how to pick it up so I can fill it with water?

First of all, go to near the fire, and hit space. Lyna says she needs water(maybe you already did this). Then, go to the fountain(in shadow world), and hit space. Lyna should say that she needs something to carry water in. Go back in the normal world and ask the shopkeeper about something to carry water in. He will tell you to kill those... creatures with spikes(dam, I can't remember their name). Kill one, and you should be able to pick it up. Go back in the shadow world, and you can take the water.
Maybe there are not necessary all these steps, but I remeber I did them.

I didn't ask the shopkeeper ... and I think once you've looked at the fire you can get a spiky shell on way to fountain
