In the "dream world," I can't seem to locate anything besides strange monsters hellbent on killing me. Are there other things in there?

Yep. As SmileStein said, there is a flamesword somewhere in there, and that will break the red shield thing to the Cast King's chambers.

Could you maybe give me a hint as to where it is within the dream world?

There is a hint. Look for... inconsistencies.

Also remember to kill everything on the screen, regardless of whether or not it is locked - in some parts of the game it makes chests appear, so it might help in the crazy world...

The flamesword is visible, but I can't find a way to get to it

In the Dinkworld forum a Walkthrough has been posted. If you still can't get the sword, get the walkthrough.

Hey matrice, I've already read your walkthrough (which besides is excellent as is the whole D-Mod; thanks redink1 ) to find that flamesword. I mean, there are no more screen-locks in that level, I can walk onto the void, but there's no sword visible in that screen that you described. What else is required to make it appear? Thanks for your help!

You must kill all enemies on the screen to make it appear.
