Enter now gives me pause in season, but Ctrl doesnt do the trick on fighting the pig (hmm, that rhymes...) so what can be wrong here?

When the pig insults you, you're supposed to get mad and turn into a bonca (I still don't understand why), then you can attack. If that isn't happening... Something is wrong I guess.

Hmm, what version of Dink do you have? I'm thinking you might have an earlier version or something, as you're the only one (to my knowledge) to have a problem with loading in Lyna and problems in COE.

Hmm, maybe your item came unselcted. Try this:
Open your inventory (season display) and press UP and RIGHT several times. This will put the (invisible) cursor in the upper right corner. Then press LEFT exactly 3 times, puting the cursor over the season icon. Now press CTRL. Exit the menu and see if it works.

Yes, you probably should. Don't worry, the free version includes DinkEdit too. The only thing it doesn't include is the bitmap graphics, but of course you can continue to get those off the CD if you use them.
You just install it right over the old version, it works like a patch. You get to keep your old save games and everything.
