"So then, on a whim, I decided to make a D-Mod called SabreTrout, where Dink would have to go find a legendary sword by the name of Sabretrout to defeat some sort of evil or something. I didn't really start on the map or anything, it was just an idea." -- Dan Walma

I think that sums up the essence of a SabreTrout d-mod rather nicely, don't you?

What does it do? Make fun of dink's jokes and appear to be high damaging, only to do two damage?

The original idea was to make it say something extremely annoying every time you swung it, but I dropped it because the idea of thinking up annoying things for it to say was annoying.

Sounds fun!

So would it be a sword made out of fish bone or a sword with fish parts? You could also have a fish with a sword shaped growth on it or something that can shift between a trout and sword form.

Wield the sword of the trout!,

It would be great to think of things for it too say when you swing it. Maybe SabreTrout himself could supply the voice. Here are some quotes;

-"How dare you swing me in such a crude manner!"
-"Is it tea time yet?"
-"Oh I just love being covered in blood..."
-"Im long AND hard!"
-"Dont grip my handle so hard!"
-"dang you Dinkers!"

He needs a lot more British slang that won't be understood by anyone.

I don't think I've EVER used any British slang on this board, so it's probably just long words you have trouble with Safmoor.

But I'm looking forward to seeing the SabreSword in action.

How can you be british without talking about "tossers"? If you don't admit to using those words, ever, I'll have to call you a Canadian with a British accent.

And, um, when did I last call someone a tosser? I know I have done, a looong time age, but c'mon!

You're living in the past, man.

I don't know if you did or didn't, since I haven't been around that long; however, one almost has to say that or similar words in order to confirm that they are indeed British and not say, South African.
