I can recommend you minesweep. You open stuff there, too, plus it's way more exciting.

I increased the mines to 120. Now it's completely pointless - just how I like it.

I prefer to put the size of the screen to maximum and the mines to minimum. Then I try to beat my time of 0sec for an hour or two.

Close your eyes and use the force. Works for me.

Actually, it doesn't. Sorry.

Best time for me on expert is 248 seconds. Now, for a challenging game, get jezzball. It's excruciating on the newer computers.

Jezzball is hardcore, you know the score.

Ha-ha, finally I beat someone in Minesweeper.. my best time on expert is 158 seconds. (well, it's not like I use all my time comparing times with people I know.. I think I know about one person who actually likes minesweep)

Impressive time! Eh, I just get frustrated by all the chances you have to take at the expert level. What are some of your tricks? Here are mine:

You gotta take into account though, that these stats were started back in 97. Anyone else remember the basic windows games? Ski? Tri-peaks? Pipe? Anyone? Anyone?

No, just ski. I'm thinking ski-free for some reason. It's the one with the polar bear. The polar bear is awsome.

Oh yeah, Ski or Die I know too, that one was nifty! And I also remember all of my classmates always wanted to play Pipe or was it Pipe Dreams (I think I had both).. if you stood about 5 meters from the screen, the green liquid looked mint-colored, and that was _so cool_.

Oh, and as for Minesweep tricks, if you're in a situation with a long wall of 1-squares starting from the top or the bottom or somewhere so that you can count them, it's worth clicking those screens out that cannot have a mine

(basically, everything else except those two squares above and below the A=1 square, since the one mine has to be in those two.. this sorta reasoning often gets you out of stuck places.)
