Updated D-Mod: Elves of Rathor v1.3
Carrie has updated her D-Mod Elves of Rathor to v1.3. A few hardbox, depth-dot, and script issues have been dealt with.
Note: this is in the new .dmod format, so you probably need DFArc to install it. All of the D-Mods will be converted to the .dmod format in the coming days, so if you find a problem please post about it.

I downloaded the DFARC thing,It's basically just a zip utility and it isn't easier than my Enzip(which was free from download.com) plus I noticed that the kb is higher in the zipped dmod file than in my zipped enzip file. Not sure why that would be?But I don't mind the new method too much and it is kinda neat to have our own '.dmod' files
Actually, unless I messed something up, v1.3 was missing the map and a tile bmp that were in the previous versions, so I added it to the .dmod version. .dmods will almost always be smaller than .zips (it uses better compression), except perhaps in some rare cases (like zipping a file with no file size, or something equally silly).
The idea behind .dmod's was to make D-Mods easier to install, without having to mess around with downloading an appropriate zip program (or figure out how to make Windows XP's work), creating a directory, making sure folders are extracted properly, and all that stuff that we take for granted. Sure, it only saves like 30-60 seconds per D-Mod, but I hope it makes things easier for users that aren't uber computer users.

But what is the point, why cant we use .zip format??
You can use the zip format, but then I'll convert it to a .dmod anyway.
The point, in simple terms:
1) Simpler installation of D-Mods
2) Simpler creation of D-Mods for distribution
3) Smaller files (better compression)

But do i need dfark to compress the files?
You don't *need* it. You can just rename the .dmod to a .tar.bz2 and it should open up in most zip programs.
