my life
i hate being political. whenever i express my views on political issues, people change their opinion of me, and judge me for my status rather than the person that i am. so, that's one reason i've kept quiet when an issue is brought up on the board.
despite this, i saw something the other day that really rattled me. passing by a large stack of newly pressed books in my local bookstore, i looked up just in time to see the face of bill clinton staring at me with a plastic smile. in large print letters, right under this attrocity, was written, "My Life". and, blaring from a speaker plastered lazily onto the bookstand that held these vile collections was the man himself, talking about how he hopes his book about the story of his life will inspire others to be just like him. i'll let you decide why this utterly pissed me off.

I bet you were pissed 'cause he blatantly lied to the American people. The fact that he had a an affair is no where near as bad as the fact that he lied. That untrustworthy...a person in his position could have done all sorts of things behind the scenes if not stopped by a functioning moral stand.

That book is old news. You should've been pissed off long ago.
Yeah, it's soooo old, maybe two or three weeks old.
Atleast he admits he did something wrong, I'd like to see Bush do that.
That's because most american presidents are shootheads

not to say that bush is any better than him. but, the impression that i'm getting is "it's okay to purposefully screw up, as long as you admit you've done something wrong. like me." now, come to think of it, i think it would probably piss me off more to see bush write a book about himself like that.
Fix your own fudgeed up governments before you question ours.
Thanks, drive through.

One does NOT have the ability to fix a government. You should know that.
So what is wrong with questioning the US government? It sucks, so isn't that the most logical thing to do? (and yes, our government sucks too).

Stop talking about "shootheads", someone might think were terrorists...

We don't have the means to fix our government, but then again we don't need to. Well, perhaps lower the ridiculous taxes but that's another matter.. At least here the political leaders don't lie to the people.
If i havent been lied to i also heard we pay higher gas prices. Or maybe the metric system is messing with my head again...but any how.
I could really care less if Bill Clinton had a affair...He is human and married to a man, but telling lies is bad. But you have to admit he pulled it all off and is sitting in news rooms laughing in our faces about it
Consider my worthless two cents put in

Lying? Has any president before Clinton had to testify about adultery before? Do you know how many of them would lie to keep up a good wholesome image? NO man with a working rod at that high of a rank is going to be completely faithful to his wife. Eleanor Roosevelt was a lesbian, so guess where FDR got all of his? Lying about adultery from a president is about as small a lie as possible. That all said, I don't like Clinton all that much. He should be attacked for his other actions.
- I'm not saying that lies are good, but they are inevitable in a presidency, and they are better spent on something that doesn't affect national security.
