Sorry about not having hosted a chat in a long time everybody, but I have a lot of trouble with my server, and it kind of puts a downer on the whole idea.
But I feel the time is right...

Sadly, I'm going to have to give you VERY short notice, and host the chat tomorrow night (Halloween).

I intend for it to be at 9PM GMT, so please, come along, and join the Spooky-Fun!

I don't think anybody is ACTUALLY on chat staff... it's just one big lie.

I've never been been to one so I'm a little confused here. Is it necessary to be staff before you can host? Why?

Send Phoenix a PM and volunteer, I'm sure he'd be keen to talk to you if you extra keen (and hold the cheese...)

You sorta need to be staff to announce and hold an "official" chat meeting, but I don't mind anyone announcing chat meetings "unofficially" either. It's not like we're overcrowded in the dink chat room at any time.

Am I still chat staff? I have difficulty keeping track! I have so many problems with my server, that it makes it extremely hard to stay in the room for any great period of time.

You know, it would be nice if that was actually a good time to host it. How about 400 GMT the next day? I mean, c'mon. 900 GMT is like, 1-2-3-4 in the morning.

No, I can't hold chats at different times. Only having the one phone line, if anybody wan;ts to use the phone (which they usually do) I am jettisoned from the net. NOT good for a chat.
I can try and SOMETIMES hold chats at other times, but we will have to see.
