im tired of this ask-tal BS. first of all, the old ask tals were cool and should be there, and it is pointless to even have it in articles section. i think ask-tal should be ripped off of tal and given to someone else who will actually do their job and not be lazy. im sure there are people who will actually want to have such a position. i nominate binirit cause she writes lots of reviews and obviously would not be a loser about it. we need to fire pureevil and get some dang interviews too. these are great ideas and the DN would be so much better using them. it is a shame.

joshriot, these people actually have lives. They don't sit around the DN expecting something to happen (like me!). I would love to sit back and see *you* do those things. Yeah, exactly. That's what I thought. Hypocrite.

I can see where josh is coming from though. AskTal has been very funny in the past, and it is a shame that it is not happening anymore. But it is AskTAL, and though othere may be able to write funny replies, they won't have the Talness about them.

As for interviews, I think that it would be nice to have somebody a bit more committed to the DN. No offense to PureEvil, as he interviewed me (Yippee!!) but it would be nice to have more interviews.
It's a shame that one of the coolest features on the DN is done by somebody who is hardly active at all.

I think only Tal can do AskTal in that unique humourous way of his. I loved it... and would actually try and write some pretty lame, stupid, weird questions just to see what weird and wonderful things would spring out of his amazing mind.

As for the reason for not continuing... well have a look at his home page in his profile...

PureEvil has left I think... he did a farewell post a while back. And yes the interviews were good - in fact I started doing some mini interviews today in the chat room. Trouble is I don't have the flair PureEvil did... but then I have a distinct purpose in mind for my interviews and the interviewees

merlin, i dont expect someone to sit around 3 hours a day working on the dink network, besides redink1. i just want someone who will spend a little time every week making something that people will want to come here and see or have a part in. i think asktal and dinkviews are positive, but they are not getting anywhere when nothing is done in months. and i am not a hypocrite, i would do either of these things cause they are freaking cool and i want them to be done. we need to like nominate people who will actually care to do a good job.

There are more weekly things that could be done here as well. For instance, WC could do weekly "10 Reasons Why I Hate Everyone".

And the funny thing is, WC actually wanted to do an article like that, but I told him it wouldn't be a good idea.

Stop picking on Kory! He's proved himself to be a very brave guy to stick around here while everyone attacked him. Since he stood tal (hm... and this topic is about Tal ) anyway, since he endured it, he should get credit for it. And also since he hasn't been a pain in the ass for a long time.

Actually he has been a bit of a boob on this site lately but he's so young that I would feel bad to reply his boobness. He can only grow older and thus more mature. So in a way I agree with you. Just let him talk and don't reply when he's well..you know..full of hot air. Put a face on a paper sack, and punch that instead.

Joshriot, You have a point but you put down Tal while saying it and he doesn't deserve that when he does so much other stuff around here. I nominate Christiian if Tal doesn't wish to do it anymore. And interviewers..hmm..how about Nitronic, or Raven, or, or, or....Well they would be my picks.
