Horrible, such things. I think animals are beter of when they're prey and just shot (just refering to the hunt-thread ) then suffering for years in too small cages.
Makes me sad and angry too.

Somewhat, but I wasn't intentionally trying to impersonate Homer de Simpson, though I probably did so subconsciously.

Here in the US we have strict guidelines and surprise inspections so those kind of conditions don't happen much here. They get closed down by the government. We have one here in my area and the inspection results are always printed in the paper and the lab has to come up to specs or else.
