The Dink Network

I have WXP and have the new winzip 8.0 version. I downloaded a dmod and used winzip to put it in c:\program files\dink smallwood\game name.
Well , it put there but when I go to the front end and click on the dmod to play it, the main game starts playing. What should I do?
Edit: Also, somehow Mystery Isle is not playing. If clicked on, it also plays the main game. However, in program files where the main game is stored, I click on dink smallwood and go to mystery island, click, and it plays.

Try clicking the run with following d-mod box.

I think we've all done that at least once. It's honestly silly that it's not checked by default. If that dude only know how many souls he has misled. (or whatever)

Why is that checkbox there in the first place, since there's 2 exes in Dink Smallwood, the one that runs the main game and the other to play dmods?

Sometimes, however, frontend doesn't work. I've had to use the custom front end the last few times I've played a dmod. It gives me an error message. Oh, and by the way, I've never been able to download Dinkablo 2 entirely, the dl just stops when it's incomplete.

Hmm, I'll try to look into that Dinkablo 2 thing.

Edit: it downloads and opens correctly for me. I tried the East Coast server.

As for the Dink Frontend not working, an error message will pop-up if you have more than 40-50 (about) D-Mods installed.
