planetside
the "good" people at sony who made the online game planetside have ripped me off for $12. i sign up for 1 month, and it clearly said my subscription would end in a month, and i stopped playing a few days before my subscription ended. now when my subscription ended, those smacktards continually charging you every month after that without informing you so they can screw you over without you knowing it. dont play planetside or any of their other games, its not worth it, they are a bunch of cold hearted greedy sob's

For starters, well... those guys at Gamespy HQ may tell you otherwise, but in reality "smacktard" is one of the dumbest insults ever conceived.
Complain to Sony. Nothing's gonna get better if you don't file some sort of complaint. With luck, the fee will be dropped. If you are screwed, then spread the anti-Sony gospel. Me, personally, I don't see myself playing fee-based MMO games anytime in the future.

you cant ever take the word *smacktard* away from me... second, i did file a complaint and they never answered me back
Know what you do now? Keep filing complaints. Call them at least once a week. Send emails. Document everything (e.g. keep copies of the emails you send, record the date and time you called, etc). And if they don't fix it, you have the right to threaten to take legal action against them.
Generally, if you keep bothering them about it for a week or two, eventually they will take care of the problem for you; and if that doesn't work, most companies are willing to take care of it just to avoid a potentially messy lawsuit.
