Why I dont hate Saints Row as much GTA(Read it please)
Ive played Saints row 2 & 3 years ago and didnt like them but I didnt hate it either and he's why
Even though Saints Row is immature AT THE VERY LEAST IT WAS HONEST WITH IT SELF it kinda admit that it's immature and sort "rolls" with it.
GTA on the other hand tries to act serious then at the same time hearing 50 swear words per second.rampage missions,sex toys doing more damage then a pistol,torturing ect.
GOD I hate Rockstar they are evil.
Saints Row=Not my cup of tea
GTA=Terrible

Okay, though I'm kinda surprised because Saints Row is designed to be more extreme than Grand Theft Auto as far as I know. More crazy, anyway.
Type in GTA controversy.
I'm well aware of numerous GTA controversies but yeesh, it's just a game. Action movies have all the things the GTA games have, but no one calls for them to be banned.
It's just a game. Don't like it? Don't play it.
You know, I partially agree here. Saints Row 3 was the only Saints Row I've played, but I actually got through it whereas whatever Grand Theft Auto I played, I did not and rather went around a bit and quit.
I see this as the main difference - Saints Row is a humorous take on gang wars where the gangs are way overpowered and can pretty much take on an entire military force with dildos if they pleased. Grand Theft Auto is more of a serious take on it where it probably doesn't have much humour, if any. Now, a game trying to be serious where you can blow up a car with a rocket launcher and it's not too big a deal is pretty stupid. If it's trying to be serious, it should be a little more realistic than that, and especially more serious about the consequences of running everyone in the city down with a car.
I don't see how Rockstar is evil for making Grand Theft Auto. All I really know of that series is that it's super overrated and probably a contributing factor to some real gang problems. Yes, with a game like that, I have to put some blame on it. It's just not helping. That's the same as games like Call of Duty which are pretty much just adverts for the military. They're just too serious.
Now, on the topic of calling a style of humour "immature", I have this to say - What constitutes being "immature"? Is this a case where acting younger is immature and you should just be a "grown up" and conform to sheep society and immediately start liking whatever "grown up" shit matches your gender, because if so, that's some poopy diarrhea face towels.

I can say this, occasional immaturity is the spice of life. For instance, I'm more happy than my more serious friends because, while I treat everything seriously, I have fun with it and try things that no mature adult would try. Sometimes I even find quick solutions to problems that take them weeks.
Saints Row is a parody of GTA, and GTA is a parody of real life (in a sense). They're both decent series with their own storylines. However, they're both pure catharsis.

But I don't mean treating everything completely seriously and "being a mature adult". Why the hell should being 25 or something mean you can't talk about toilets and diarrhea or watch "immature" shit like this and have a good time with it?
Take that occasional "immaturity" and take it up a notch and just do what you do despite society trying to tell you to act your age. Act yourself, goddamnit.
