one time at dink camp...
...i heard that such things as one even existed! but seriously, wouldn't that be the most kickass idea? to get a dink camp started...we could get a whole bunch of us together and everyone who plays dink could go here for a week and play dink with each other and develop dmods and have a talent show and go eat pizza. i dunno, maybe i've been drinking too much hot tea, but i'd like to see this happen 
It would be pretty funky, but when you consider some of the age differences and lifestyle differences within the DN, you see how things could go wrong.
With the 13 year olds in one group, eating packed lunches, the teenagers (and younger adults) would be happily smoking the bud, and eating all the real food at the gathering.
The more mature adults would frown disapprovingly, whilst chatting of their idea's for a d-mod.
The oldest Dinkers (with an exception or two) would wait quietly in the shadows, mumbling about how Dink was better back when all those Dang n00b's were still walking the streets with mommy everyday.

When you say camp, I have to think of WC. Just combine Sabre's ideas of how it would be and put WC in that picture (probably with a stengun or something of the kind

I think people weird enough to like dink smallwood talking to each other on a board is enough. I couldn't imagine the horror of seeing all these people at once, the magic of the headless duck icons would be gone.

Notice that when I was 12 Sabre reffered to the n00bs being 12... and now I'm 13 he reffers to n00bs as 13

Dude, they do this for Asheron's Call, its called the AC Player's Luncheon, but its different because you know people better when you play a game with them for 8 hours a day. And the developers play an active role in it. I never went to it but it was supposed to be fun.
