Dink Mysteries #3: Milder is ALIVE!!
Hey, anyone remember when I did a couple of those Dink Mysteries videos a few years back? They were basically parodies of old "conspiracy theory/mystery documentaries". Never got around but making two of them though.
Recently I found out an interesting thing about the original game though, that I'm pretty sure NOBODY has ever noticed before. Or at least not publicly talked about. So I decided to make a new Dink Mysteries based around it, because Kyle suggested it. This new mystery shall shatter the grounds of the Dink Community! Aherm...
Anyway, just keep in mind not to take this too seriously. It's made as a total parody and I'm NOT as Dink obsessed as the video makes me seem, heh. But I do hope if you're a hardcore Dinker, it'll shed some new light and interest into you. Here's the video:

Dink Mysteries Episode #3: Milder is ALIVE!!
I can't believe there are people who kept playing after the ending Awesome!
As for the script running where it shouldn't, that's indeed not much of a mystery. But after that you hit it out of the park with the overanalyzing xD I love that stuff! It made my imagination go wild about what could have happened and that's a great and fun thing to experience
If you want REAL obsession over a videogame years after it has been played and analyzed, check out Rule of Rose mysteries. It over, over, over, over, over, over, overanalyzes the excellent game Rule of Rose and makes it sound completely reasonable!
Anyway, great episode It'll probably be hard to keep finding stuff for subsequent episodes. Maybe you should hop onto popular d-mods to do the same thing^^

Episode 3 where are the other ones?
The whole idea of Dink telling King Daniel that Milder is dead no matter whether that's the actual truth or not... actually plays very well to the plot and Dink's character. Because, why shouldn't he? Dink wants to become a knight like Milder. Just telling them he killed the ancient one Seth might not have sealed the deal -- after all, they'd let Dink on that Milder has performed numerous knightly deeds of that sort and Milder would still be one step ahead of him. The only way for Dink to outdo Milder is to put him out of the picture completely. Dink might know it's not the truth, but THEY won't be the wiser. (Atleast not for the first minute or two until Milder shows up to ruin the day again, anyway.)
Milder as it happens was very much present and alive throughout the Seth fight (as you argued in the video) and to me it wasn't a question of whether he survived that fight, while barely alive of course, but who could have rescued him? The boat guy? Perhaps Lyna had a thing for him after all, and tailing Dink followed him all the way to the Darklands?
Also I don't have a savegame that far into the game to check if Milder's body is still there after you've talked to Daniel and finished the game, but it would be doubly interesting if it had actually disappeared at that point.
Good video, great fun, more indepth look from many angles into the mystery than episodes #1 and #2 did.

Great video! And there is more proof for the observation that Milder is alive. You can finish the game without ever talking to the men in the bar. And the first time you talk to them, Milder will come in and ruin your story (as you showed in the video). This too will happen no matter at which point in the game this first time is; including after the battle with Seth.
Does it really?
I did think that might be the case, but I was pretty sure that scene wasn't available anymore after the DDC quest.

I remember myself playing after the ending...
Trying to find Port town and buy the house from Charlie...
And trying to somehow access the snowy area.
Such a time waste.
