I'd kinda rather have him say happy holidays, he might not get offensive.
Happy holidays is still offensive dack. It's just a saying for people trying to cater to everyone, but there are people who don't celebrate holidays so it's really quite rude.
Then how can we say it without be offensive at all, do we just do a blank icy stare?
Meh, if people get offended, and they whine about it, I give them a very intense stare and explain to them that I am wishing them a happy day that so happens to fall on a holiday.
shouldn't every day be a happy day, except to; Scrooge, The Grinch, Tal[the good version is his long lost brother, Pal], and any other Christmas villain.
