Why are Snakes so evil
There one of my least favourite animals not counting insects(I hate almost all insects)
I could never imagine having one as a pet they disgust me.

The snakes represented evil for centuries.
This most probably stems from the fact they were connected with death (because of poison).
Not because they are supposed to be ugly.
In some cultures they also represented medicine (caduceus/rod of asclepius) or knowledge/wisdom.
However, their main symbolic meaning seems to remain evil.
Hope that answers your question.

The keyword is your. Not everybody finds the same animals disgusting and/or evil as you do. There's probably an animal you like but many others don't. Personally, I don't really like any animals all that much. Not to the point of taking them as pets, anyway.

I like snakes. They feel really cool. I even have a snake skin wallet so I can feel one regularly.
I'd like to point out that snakes are reptiles. The term animal generally refers to mammalian species. As for whether I like snakes or not, if they're not poisonous, I don't mind them. Otherwise I turn around and walk away.
Animal refers to one of the 6 types of life we know of, the others being plants, fungi, bacteria, archaea and protists. (The last two are often omitted, or replaced with viruses, but they aren't alive.) So no, animal does not, in any way, usually refer to mammals. It covers all polycellular that isn't a plant or a fungus...
I like snakes, and I already knew they represent evil, but don't spiders also represent evil?
I'm not particularly fond of snakes, I honestly can't have one out of its cage anywhere near me. Even if it's a cute little garter snake.
Also, I'd like to point out that wolves were seen as evil in the eastern hemisphere due to how a long time ago they would occasionally kill sheep being herded by shepherds, though I like to point out that the Native Americans saw the wolf as a good omen.
(Yes, that is a small part of why I brought this up, but it also has great historical value as well.)

my uncle Marshall use to have a snake, though I don't know where it went, he took it out sometimes. also what is a garter snake, I heard of garden snakes, and don't spiders count as evil beings.
Garter snakes = garden snakes. Garden snake is a common term for it.
ahh that explains it, thanks.
"my uncle [name] use[d] to have a snake...he took it out sometimes."
This just screams childhood trauma to me. Especially if it was called a "Trouser snake".

It was not a "trouser snake" it was some kind of pet snake, he let me and my brother feed it live mice sometimes, they thought they were safe, but we knew what would happen even though we never saw it.
My friends have a king snake that they let me hold. I'd never thought snakes could be cute until I met that one. It was a very curious animal and liked to go exploring, and it could be very insistent. It tried to burrow into the sofa cushions and even made its way through my belt loop. I only held it once or twice, though, because it was very distracting to deal with that while I was trying to have a conversation.
Dinkulum, When you said it went through your belt loop, it made it sound like a trouser snake and maybe their were mice in the cushions?
Well it definitely wasn't a trouser snake. And maybe there were mice in there. I didn't see them.
How do rattle snakes rattles, rattle, exactly, do they have tiny things in them?
The 'rattle' is actually a bunch of scales or something that clacks together when it's shaken.
Ok, now is there anything interesting about any other snakes that we might not know.
snakes are immune to their own poison.
Certain snakes live in trousers, be wary of those.

Well best to check all our trousers then, and what about if another snake bit one, is it still immune or what?
Also one thing I learned from a TV show, is that snakes have heat detecting eyes[whatever the word it].

What do you call a pirate snake?
A bowarrr constrictor?
There are only about three poisonous snakes in the world. It's not an outrageous fact, just very few people seem to understand the difference between poison and venom. (Myself included, I was recently corrected)
Ok, then how many snakes are venomous?
Most of them. Poison is deadly to eat, venom is deadly bite/sting.
So if a poisoness snake bites you, you're ok?
IIRC, all poisonous snakes are also venomous. But if not, pretty much.
So if we meet a snake odds are, we're *&%@ed? Also what does IIRC mean?
What about "Trouser" snakes?
I know, but it's funner to say the other way.
More fun*
Fine, it's more fun to say it that way.
Snakes aren't evil. It's the bunnies you've got to watch out for.
