My friends have a king snake that they let me hold. I'd never thought snakes could be cute until I met that one. It was a very curious animal and liked to go exploring, and it could be very insistent. It tried to burrow into the sofa cushions and even made its way through my belt loop. I only held it once or twice, though, because it was very distracting to deal with that while I was trying to have a conversation.
