I'm not particularly fond of snakes, I honestly can't have one out of its cage anywhere near me. Even if it's a cute little garter snake.
Also, I'd like to point out that wolves were seen as evil in the eastern hemisphere due to how a long time ago they would occasionally kill sheep being herded by shepherds, though I like to point out that the Native Americans saw the wolf as a good omen.
(Yes, that is a small part of why I brought this up, but it also has great historical value as well.)
