Is there a person who makes video reviews of different video games? If not, then is there a way to post videos on the Dink Network? Or maybe i can use URLs?

Using URLs is the only way to share videos, aside from actually uploading a video file here the same way you would a dmod. If someone creates a video review of Dink/some dmod, it would be acceptable to submit the URL as a review, too.

My God, I'm so tired of visiting this site. Just full of humourless people. I know I might not be the most humorous person myself, but these people are plain dry compared to me. On top of that, no sensible new posts and the two certain people who helped Skorn back, are turning every thread into a personal chat box, which resembles more spamming than a sensible or a humorous conversation. Only one giving me hope for the future of this site, is TheNewGuy.

*Sigh* If we even had any good file releases more often, but no...

EDIT: And just as I go say that, I see TheNewGuy's review on HH2, making me seem like a selfish ass. Man...

Man, that review uploaded fast. I sent it in just hours ago. I was a little worried it would be too long (because it is very, very, long) but it seems that it wasn't a problem.

Don't worry Skull, we all get frustrated from time to time and I don't think you're being a selfish ass. I think you're just worried about the future of the Dink Network. I'm a little disappointed myself, but I can only hope that it's a recession that will ease away in time.

Fitting music while reading

This place has been up for about 15 years now and I really dig the enthusiasm, the perseverance and the everyday visits by everyone here that keep on posting in this forum whether it be just talking crap, ranting, voting in polls, sensible posting or posting something big...

This place has been with me a long time and Dink Smallwood was one of the first games I played alot. I discovered DMODS and I thought it was awesome to download new levels to the game.

Veterans and new guys alike, this forum has a sweet kind of magic to it that resembles a place on the internet where people can find shelter, home and share their day with the rest of the community we have here. There is a place in all of our hearts here at the Dink Network. And that's just that... the place where everyone have friends, enemies or are fairly neutral to some and share their memories, their experiences and what they've eaten recently... The Dink Network.

Very, very well said Quiztis. I know I've only "been" here a short time, but I feel the same the way. I can certainly relate to how you felt when you discovered DMODs. Even crappy dialup, lack of my own computer, and grumpy parents who didn't want the phone line taken up wasn't enough to stop me from downloading new Dink adventures as a kid. Honestly, as long as people keep releasing good DMODs, I will most likely keep playing them. And as of now, people are still making good DMODs.

I'm not exactly a TDN Veteran, but I've been here long enough that I don't want to see this place fall so far that it just simply disappears. I mean, I told everyone I'm a Therian, and that's not something I tell without trust. Granted, I perhaps should have told only a few people, given how a few things turned out. But, that's life.

Except that the community isn't much worth staying in anymore. There's the older half of it, that keeps making people come back, and the newer half of it, which makes people want to get the hell out and never return. On top of that, what frustrates me personally, is that I'm not an old nor a new member. I don't have the drive that new members do, nor the wish to take part in their shenanigans, but I also don't feel like nor see myself as part of the older guys. I've always been more or less a one-man band here. And with how much TDN has gone downhill, I just want to leave, but I always end up back here, to see stuff that makes me once again even more certain I want to leave.

I know it's kinda silly to take a website this seriously, but everybody who's been here, knows how close and how much like a family this community really is, or at least used to be, so... *shrugs*

Contributing will keep it alive.

From what I've read about Therianthropy, It doesn't sound any stranger than any of the mainstream religions. I think the main reason someone might look down on a Therian is because their own belief system has been repeated to them so many more times that they conversely don't perceive their own religion as strange. To me, every religion that I know about I find to be strange (including atheism), but I understand why they are popular and I would be foolish to hold a grudge against anyone for simply having a religion.

The closest religious title you could pin on me would probably be "agnostic." Basically, I don't know nor claim to know what lies beyond the grave or what unknown things have happened in history. There could be a God, but maybe there isn't, or maybe there is a hundred and one God Dalmations. I simply don't know.

Therianthropy isn't a religion, that's what most people confuse it for. No, it's simply that a person has a connection, whether mental or spiritual, to a certain type of animal. There are Christian, Wiccan, Atheist, et cetera Therians all over the world.

My point remains that it isn't really strange at all compared to what other people commonly believe. But yes, sorry for calling it a religion.

Nice name, and some people like standing in the blizzard, and where is it coldest in Michigan. It would be nice if you know when its a snow day without having to do much, walked to school then had to walk back and went to a police station for it.
