US election 2012
Obama. Cause if Romney gets elected, it will truly be the end of the world this year.
Libertarian, because neither are fit for presidency.
Big deal. Romney, Obama? I don't understand the people who believe in change. The country has its goals, and so far, their methods to achieve them, has showed good results. So, foreign and internal policy will remain the same... History repeating.
Obama.
And clearly, the right one to win is the one Absolution is against.

I feel like things have gotten better since Obama came into office, but that might not be universally true. I believe Romney would destroy all the progress that was made. He doesn't really understand what it's like not to be rich.
If Romney ever gets elected, I feel he'd go down in history as the "person who started a nuclear war just cause he one day felt like doing so". I think the guy's a 10x nuttier version of Bush.
I watched part of the first public debate they had. Romney kept changing stances and most of all, spewing lies. Unfortunately, I think there's still a lot of people in the US (and most likely anywhere else too...) that just vote blindly or don't understand the lies that they're being fed. That's where Romney (and most republicans) gets his advantage from.
And since he's going to increase the budget of the military, which they specifically said was NOT needed, he's definitely up to something.

Oh, and here's something I learned today.
Mitt Romney:
-laid off thousands of workers as head of the investment company Bain Capital.
-set up shell companies in the Cayman Islands and Bermuda to avoid U.S. taxes.
-calls Obama’s payroll tax cut that would save middle class/lower income families $1,500 a year “temporary little band aids.”
-plan for a “middle class tax cut” would provide zero benefits to 73.9 percent of the middle class.
-called for taxes on the poor, saying low-income Americans having no income tax liability is “a problem” that will “kill the country.”
-would repeal the Dodd-Frank bill, which regulates the risky practices that led to the 2008 crisis.
-said he wants to “get the federal government out of education."
-As governor, vetoed a minimum wage increase to $8 an hour.
-said he “cannot see that a Cabinet position would be justified” for an American Muslim.
-opposes troop withdrawal from Iraq.
-said that catching bin Laden would be “insignificant” and it’s “not worth moving heaven and earth.”
-supports drilling for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
-supports penalties for doctors who perform an abortion.
-would “absolutely” support a state constitutional amendment to define life as beginning at conception, which ---would restrict women’s right to an abortion.
-pledged to expand a Bush-Era policy of permitting doctors to deny women access to contraceptives.
-drafted a bill to exempt a religious group from nondiscrimination rules, allowing it to ban fabulous couples from adopting children.
-refused to condemn the booing of a fabulous soldier at a GOP debate.
-blamed pornography for the Virginia Tech shooting. (WTF?)
-first act as president would be to allow all states to opt out of health reform through executive action, which would be illegal.
-feels Americans’ pain because he’s “also unemployed.” Romney was worth $250 million in 2008.
-won’t release his tax returns.
-“loves” george bush
-thinks windows in airplanes should open
-believes that rapists should have parental rights over children resulting from the rape they committed.
I already knew about half of those. I could never support him.

I'm not really following it too closely, but I saw this video which seems to be pretty popular on Youtube...
Edit: "-thinks windows in airplanes should open"
Seriously?

I sense a new Hitler.
EDIT: No, actually scratch that! I sense a new dictator. At least Hitler had a nice moustache and had some cool ideas, even if they were only to benefit him.

Huh. this websites seems to be very pro-obama!
I have to say that I am too after watching the presidential debates.. I just get the feeling that Romney can't be trusted and that he will say anything to please the voters (well so does most politicians but Romney is constantly contradicting himself which makes him look very false)
One of the few things he is consistent about is that he wants to reduce taxes and increase the militaries budget (without them needing it) without a way of paying for it... and he calls himself a business man..

Yeah, I think the rest of the world (outside of US) is overwhelmingly pro-Obama.
Romney just comes off as a pretty epitomical insincere conniving white-collar slimebag.

Eh... hyperbole aside, I will agree with the sentiment that Romney is just really not a good person in any way and would be a poor choice for head-of-state.
It is the US election... If the rest of the world would be allowed to vote the candidates would obviously be radically different.
On a personal note, I don't really really care who the Americans vote for president, on the end of the day its their president. When US policy impacts me, then obviously I would care. But if people on the other side of the big pond really don't mind insurance companies only selling insurances that preclude the one illness you are most likely to get... Who am I to argue with them?
If we'd all be alike, things would be rather boring.
