We restart the game and explore Freg Island.

Part 2 - Darius the Cruel
We clean Charlie's basement and visit Hank.

Part 3 - Rynth Woods
In the third part we enter Rynth Woods and complete some tasks for three witches.

Part 4 - Darius the Defeated
In this part we wrap the game up.

Nicely done, and the video lag/quality wasn't that much off. You may, as someone else stated, run Dink from another hard drive than from the one you're recording on for possible increase in performance.

OMG those stairs in Hank's castle! How could I have missed that?!

I also found a rather annoying bug with different items such as the mushroom and the log. When you script an item, never use the say_stop -command. Use the say -command. If you use say_stop Dink will say the line, but if you equip another item before Dink finishes his line, the game gets stuck between the two scripts. When this happens, you're unable to use your weapon and need to equip it again. However, this will cause your strength to get higher than it should be able to, because the game checks the item's script again and also increases your strength points again.

Maybe you'll want to look into that and update the game.

Holy... I didn't know about that Skull, nice catch. I immediately went and removed a say_stop command I had in one of my items.

I'm recording the next part, but I'm having trouble defeating the insanely hard final boss. Seriously, even I think he's freaking impossible. I spent pretty much the whole last night leveling up in Rynth Woods. I'm on level 8 and I'm still having trouble defeating him.

He's not impossible I can assure you that. Buut I'll have a look at it. And fix that bug.

EDIT: Cakewalk at level 4 + boots. And you got to level 8? In the forest? 25xp per slayer?

Still having trouble defeating him. Don't remember him being this hard. It's probably because of the lag. It makes the game surprisingly harder.

Hm. Can't remember changing him since vanilla. The real-time lag while you play is horrible if you're going to record Let's Plays actually. Use something more reliable, like Fraps.

Sooo, how's that part 4 coming along?

Part 4 is coming out. Don't worry. I've just been busy with HH2 and other stuff. I've spent eternity leveling up, and I was able to beat the boss finally, after leveling at the slayers for like 4 weeks. I ended up at level 18. Then after that, believe it or not, I loaded the older saved game, tried again and beat him at level 8. I was so pissed off but I'm not gonna record it again.

It's not the recording software. I mean, yes, it did do its part but I think it was just my suckiness mostly.

It has to be the software that makes you lag. It just has to be. From what I've seen you're not sucky at all.

The final part is up. I'm done with the LP for now. Unless I decide to do some special endings and stuff. This was a chaotic LP to do, for some reason. Sorry it sucked so much Quiztis.

I don't think the LP sucked. Plus, it triggered me wanting to play the d-mod so win-win

I agree the LP didn't suck and so-what you where over-leveled for the boss just a bigger boss humilation XD
