Hey.
I've been listening to classical music for a while and I just had a faint memory that somewhere in the main "Dink Smallwood" game there was a sound track that was either equal or reminiscent of Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor. Out of sheer curiosity, is this true? Where does it play? From what I remember, it played somewhere along the Darklands...
Thanks

Hmm...Track 02 (the first file) from this file sounds a bit like it, but I don't recall that music in the Darklands.
o.O i had no idea we had such classy people in the DN.... I thought we all just listened to yakety sax for music....
Ah...I went to the Darklands and listened but it didn't start after four minutes so I assumed it was just left blank >_>

7. midi? The one which starts after 4 and so minutes? M'afraid not. Still, that's the one that plays in the Darklands? (I don't have the game installed =P)
Are you sure it's not that one? A couple of minutes in there's an organ section that sounds pretty similar to me.

Sorry to insist, but it's got to be my problem. I downloaded a recent version of Dink Smallwood to see the Sound files and opened 07.mid yet. There's the usual 4 minutes without sound as some have said yet there's no organ xD The file doesn't seem right; the music is a bit, how can I say, scatchy?
Well, I mean a couple of minutes after the music starts. There are strings first, a piano joining them about a minute in, and eventually those stop, there's a pause, and then the organ.
Yes, I played it in winamp and the organy bits didn't play. I tried it again in MPC and it worked perfectly.
I know the problem. If I play the same D-Mod on my PC, then on my laptop, some of the MIDIs sound way different, simply because on my laptop, it leaves certain instruments out. That's what I'm assuming is going on in this case, too.

Thank you, Skull. It's really the laptop that's leaving the instruments out. Tried it also on MPC and it's the same, it's the laptop.
