I did everything the walkthorugh and she says that a bit too strong for you.

You need to have more than 6 strength.

I found that it was only after finding and talking with the circle, and getting a hint from the dialogue (it was in the sound bite at the start), then going back to the grape crushing girl that she gave you the wine. Maybe I did get to level 6 as well.
As an added note, I found I had to restart the game several times. Annoying, but I could play some parts blindfolded now.
