Its not a bad looking game but its not the best looking but it still as bad load time (I FELT LIKE I WAS PLAYING A PS1 GAME)
the end boss is too easy compared to the other bosses

The reality is that America produces more music, movies and video games aimed at an international market then any other country in the world - there's just three reasons for this: 1.) They're good at it 2.) They're the forerunners of those entertainment forms 3.) They're making billions out of it.

In other words, they are the market leaders. Unfortunately, since almost all recordings are innately worthless, it's easy to mass-produce many copies thus turning a huge profit; the problem is who will demand this supply? The problem is commonly resolved by making products which require little effort but will entertain the majority of the market. That's why they recycle jokes or take them to extremes: Family Guy is a clone of The Simpsons, Spy vs Spy was an "adult" version of Tom and Jerry, Mel Brooks stuff takes Monty Python and Disney styled humour to extremes etc.

Japan develops the best video games. (Resident Evil, Valkyria Chronicles, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, LocoRoco, Sonic the Hedgehog, etc.) because they have Seth, of course.
But the Americans produce some cool games (Alice, Alice:Madness Returns, Guitar Hero, Tony Hawk's Skating games, Tom Clancy games etc.)
because they have American McGee.

Duke Nukem Forever was the best game created in a loooooong ass while. Why? Because it had Duke in it.

well of all the things Predator said i just agree with one thing Duke Nukem 3D is better but Forever isn't all that bad.
If i had to name 1 flaw is there weren't nearly enough shrunk Duke levels i loved those.
Right now i'm ego boost hunting so i can take one big bad cycloid on hard mode(then i should have n problem especially since now i can have 4 weapons and thus have enough ammunition to kill all the pig cops needed for their Rocket Propelled Grenade launchers)

What's with everyone picking on Schnapper suddenly? Do you have some sort of a secret boy club where you meet and plan this all out? Well, if it's that easy for you to just stop, then why not stop right now? If every single one of Predator's threads concerned you and how much he hates you, then I would understand it, but none of them actually do.

Also, if someone was to post a thread such as "Skull sucks" (aherm, Godley ), I would try to calmly understand at first why the person hates me so much, and then explain to him my point of view about the situation. Then hopefully we could come into conclusion. I wouldn't go and try to spam and annoy the living hell out of the other person. Godley created this kinda thread once, however I can't remember the threads name so I'm not gonna bother finding it again, and that thread is a prime example of how to deal with things without super spammage all caps rampage.

In 2007 it looked like things were getting better but it just crashed. In 2009 and '10, it really looked like things were going to spark up but then we let these kinda situations with spamming and flaming take us down again. Argh! We should be spending this time reviewing, making files and overally talking about happy things.

Skull is like an Estwing hammer in this thread, repeatedly hitting the nail on the head.

The obvious difference being that Estwing is from the other side of the Gulf of Bothnia.

Here's how it was in DN when i've joined.

2007 - No spam. Kickass DMODs released
2008 - another year with kickass dmods and nice ppl
2009 - things getting a little spammy. Less dmods
2010 - spam. Very small dmod release
2011 - SPAMAGE and the appearance of Predator the commie. Barely any dmods were released.

I think the game is great and I think Gearbox has learned much from Forever to make an even better sequel. I really can't see why Duke Nukem Forever sucks from the game-critics view, I just can't, it's a freakishly fun game if you ask me.

Quizits. All the gameplay changes such as 2 weps was 3D Realms' idea. Don't forget that Gearbox made HL Opposing Force, Borderlands etc. it's a great company and btw they are planning to remake the Duke Nukem 3D

Definitely not the most disappointing game ever. The high expectations about this game ended years ago, when plenty of people lost hope of it actually being released. When it finally started looking like it WOULD get released, it was already obvious it's not going to be top of the line because of the amount of time they took.

The 2 weapon feature is something I really dislike in my games :/ I think Halo started that trend.

It doesn't really matter that much. When playing, I constantly found the second weapon to be bothering me. I'd actually prefer if it had just one weapon to use at a time.

Maybe you, MsDink, haven't been paying very close attention to anything Predator, or anyone else for that matter, has been saying. He tried to register before he even called himself 'Predator'. He said he tried to use another name. I also doubt he would be too dumb realize that the name has already been taken, when it says so. There have also been others who have been complaining about this, and their names have certainly not been taken, and I again doubt, that everyone around would be too stupid to realize that the names are taken.

I've already stated a gazillion of times that anyone who doesn't get the activation e-mail, has some crappy @ that has gotten flooded with spam and ads, so the e-mails can't get through anymore. Or then it just won't let it through for some other reason. These people should try Gmail, or some other good @.

Something I don't understand about the game, though. Why did they ditch so many of the original game's ideas and gameplay feel? It just didn't feel like they were trying to make a Duke Nukem game, but a totally different game that just happened to be Duke Nukem-themed. If they kept the gameplay close to what it was in DN3D, they could have had a winner.
