Re: Name of the kingdom
I have been wondering for a while: How is king Daniel's kingdom actually called?
It's kinda strange that we have a kingdom that is quite important in many DMODs and we don't actually know its name. Some DMODs just use "King Daniel's kingdom" or something like that. For Paninga I chose to use the name "Goodheart" for the kingdom. So, which name would you use to describe king Daniel's kingdom?

definately Goodheart as well for me
or גודהרט in Hebrew hah

I had the same dilemma, and opted for calling it Goodheart as well. Kind of boring, but makes sense I guess.
I think I'd rather call it KRUPULIA.
I think I'd rather call it KRUPULIA.
I never thought of that actually,we should make an official name for it.
Castle is called Goodheart so kingdom has to follow doesn't it or could u call it pighaven or umm ducksquash I guess, the possibilities are endless heheh
Since the great family "Goodheart" were major players in modernising the realms, I propose "Heartland" to be the name for the kingdom. This also reflects the ignorance of the as yet non-sea-faring people (there are no ports or boats recorded) of the realm who believe their lands to be the center or "heart" of the world.
Lore: The people of Heartland descend from native tribes that travelled the countryside on foot, herding pigs, ducks and harvesting from the many Alk nuts (from which a kind of fatty flour was extracted), apples, pumpkins and hemp which covered the land.
There is also evidence of grapes, cabbages, oranges and carrots. These arrived at about the same time as the first seafarers from a city called "Port-town". After exploring what was to become "Heartland", Port-towners decided it was too wild to bother with, and they couldn't find the valuable metals which they sought.
It seems that Daniel Goodheart's great-grandfather had something to do with these people from across the sea, for he may be called the first citybuilder. It was during these days that the goblins rose up in the north, and castles were built during an all-out crusade in the icy wastelands whence the goblin people came.
In all honesty I see the above history as flawed, because it doesn't explain Seth's anger, or the goblin sanctuary, or various cults and organisations present in dink's day. It doesn't explain Joppa Isle or Martridge. Next historian please!

Pfft - Seth obviously forgot to turn spell-check '95 off.
GoodHeart - Seth's dad used to capitalize letters in names. Kind of funny when you read the comments in the source .

This should be decided in the same way the argument of how "D-Mod" should be written was decided. TO TEH POLLZORZ!
Safe LMGTFY
"Krupulia" by scratcher. Unique, sounds funny and almost only written here.
Kingdom of Goodheart sounds good to me. Vote goes to schappers Heartland(s) for short.

Castle Goodheart? Goodheart county.

It doesn't matter. Dink's story is incredibly half-baked. Dink's mother doesn't have a first name, and Milder doesn't have a house.
Yes, but it's our duty as fans to make the story work! Or to relentlessly pick it apart. Either one, inclusively.
It's Goodheart in the original game.
I'd like to call it Dink's Kingwood when Dink murders Daniel takes over the kingdom.

I vote for kingdom of goodheart.
I think that sort of thing went out the window when the Dink Timeline was abandoned.
It attempted to place all dmods into a chronological order in relation to Dink. The problem was that people didn't care about it, and that it really didn't matter because there's so little in the original game to draw from.

Would be much harder now, compared to back in 98...
The timeline was a fun enough project, but it didn't ever have any kind of real continuity. A good thing too, since taking into account everything that happens in every other dmod would be ridicuously restricting and annoying.
Would make for one bizarre (and potentially really cool) adventure for someone to do that now though.

It would require Dink to have at least three or so different fathers though. And Dink died half a dozen deaths. And Dink went on some sort of sabatical for well over half a century in total. And there are probably some other thingies.

You could separate the D-Mods into different timelines! Sounds like fun.

Well scnapper Seths anger was provoked by the tong Finnith Smallwood. Finnith father of nathen Smallwood stole a item of great value from Seth. This item was the cloak of Dragon Carcess. After he hid it in a cave on a small island of of windemers coastline. Soon after Finnith died without revealing the location of his treasure cave. Soon later a hooker gave birth to Nathen but this isn't his story. After time the ducks developed a increased intellect and started there civilization. They would have continued to eventually rule the world but a young priest found the dragon carcass cloak unknowing of it's evil power was corrupted by it and started a cult devoted to the carcass. Then came the boiling point the carcass spoke to him and told him to kill Nathan Smallwood. Being only a priest he hired goblin mercenaries to kill him then starting the goblin war wich soon ended with a peice treaty and a sanctuary was built. Due to the laziness of King Daniels father the war in the north continued it is said that they still hold the castle.
Indeed.
Try combining that into some kind of a semi-coherent mess that's not totally lame (it was a dream and didn't really happen, it happened in a different dimension, etc).
