I found an interesting article on Parallel Universes and such. It sorta makes sense, and isn't too complex.

Our universe is most likely a closed-finite universe, otherwise we are in the very center. I'm sure that would make the pope happy, but it's just not tenable. (the closed-finite model means that if you could travel far enough in a straight line, you would return back to where you started. I could show several reasons why this is most likly, but it might take a LOT of typing.) That article assumes an infinite universe, and since more distant galexies are retreating more quickly than close ones, that is impossible. Fun reading though.

Hm. I can think of other good theories, and perhaps if I find time I will post them and start a debate or something. Meanwhile however, I'll post my thread inspired by this one. Yes redink1, that's right. You inspire me. *tear*

I only read the first page, which is, foolness. Anyone gets that if space really is infinite, absolutely EVERYTHING is true, exists, is real, etc. But since I don't believe so, that article makes no sense.

I believe on what Ric said, that If you could travel far enough in a straight line, you would return back to where you started,
exactly like here in earth. To get out of space, someone will have to invent a completely new way of travelling. Like someone got to invent a rocket to get away from earth.

Then what is beyond space? I'm not going to guess, like people in the old age, that space is a huge ocean, and earth is under a giant glass, that often leaps and water dripps down here.

That actually is quite a logical theory, but as everyone knows, it is so wrong as a theory ever can be.
