Screw this, I can't wait any longer!
As some of you may know, my computer has been busted for quite a while now, and hence I haven't done any Dink stuff...*SOB*.
Yet I have another (much poorer) one still, and have got such withdrawal systems I must download Dink again NOW!!
Obviously, I cannot continue with most of my d-mods I have already started, as they are on the other computer (CC2, AKT2, PLANEWALKER are the more well know ones...) so I have a dilemma (well...not a dilemma really, as I love this part of making a d-mod!
What should I do? I won't be able to get something out for the contest, due to impending exams, but I wanna get stuck into something.
Probably not alternative hero either, unless I use people from the original, as I don't wanna spend too long just downloading things.
Does anybody have any suggestions, or what they would like to see?

This whole ordeal... with the frequent destruction of Dink authors' computers... this is a conspiracy.
How compatible are they? Can you swap hard drives?

Hmmm, that may be possible, I'll have to see. But I think Arik said it wouldn't work...
BTW, I've started a blog for the development of this d-mod, so feel free to go and check it out. Now.

Your D-Mod idea sounds pretty interesting, if a bit difficult (all new graphics? egad!
)
Anyway, you should be able to hookup your old hard drive in the working computer without much trouble. Just set the jumpers to Slave, plug the Power and IDE cables in, and it should work fine and dandy without removing the old hard drive. You'd be able to browse the old hard drive, but Windows wouldn't actually boot off of it.

yeh but i will admit, its happened to me twice and it was my own fault both times. dont play with fdisk, kids.
The anime style isn't definately gonna be used, as I wouldn't have a hope of making the graphics with my own "talent". If I was gonna make it in that style, I would still need to find an artist who could make some FF style GFX.
I doubt there are many takers though, as most Dinkers are usually looking for someone to do GFX for them, and generally have very little success.
But thanks Redink, I'll give it a try!

I hope that you can still use your stuff on your crashed pc.
BTW: what is FF styled GFX? Did I miss an abbrev?

Talk about something you know about psp7, as you obviously know nought about this. PC's crash, it's a fact. There is no WAY I'd stop working on CC2 if I could avoid it.
And I blame you.
And I blame you.

Get Windows ME and see if you can stop your computer from crashing...it's impossible.
