The Dink Network

Hello the Dink community,

I've recently downloaded Dink Smallwood HD from the app store and I really enjoyed playing it.
So now I'd like to continue the adventure through th DMODs but I don't know how to install it on my macbook. I've downloaded .dmod files from this website but I don't know what to do with it.
Could anybody help please?

Erm... not sure if there's an easy way on a Mac (Dink for Mac is pretty new plus I don't use one ) but here's how to do it manually:

A .dmod file is really a .tar.bz2 file which can be uncompressed like a zip file, not sure how again on Mac though!

Once you have the opened folder (called "cc2" for Cloud Castle 2 for example) then put it in the "dmods" directory inside "Dink Smallwood HD" and it should show up in-game.

Hopefully it works similarly in Mac to how it does in Windows

Easiest way is to go to the dmod you want to download on this site, right click on download now and copy url, then open dink and past it in the download by url tab in dink hd.

Once I get to my mac I can give more advanced guidelines if neccesary.

Click on 'Add-on quests' within DinkHD and then click 'Install by URL'. Type of paste the download link to the DMOD (http://files.dinknetwork.com/cloud_castle_2_scarab-1.dmod) and it should download and install itself.

Sparrowhawks version should also work.
