Redink seems to not have as much time on his hands as useal, so I needed a feature to turn off the visiblity of your e-mail to standard users. You may find this option in the account section.

*edit: also, any Senior Staff member who is logged into their account will be able to see your e-mail no matter what. However, lower level accounts and the general public will not.

I'm a man, but I can change, if I have to.I guess.
Would it be possible to allow the email to be seen by all logged in members, and not the general public?

This is probably kind of a dumb suggestion, but if you're not going to make it possible for logged in members to see the email addys of the other members who want it hidden, is it possible to integrate some type of Private Message system into the accounts? Hiding the email makes it almost impossible (unless they have instant messengers) to contact another dinker... if we had some way to private message them over the network, then it wouldn't be a problem.

Not that it will be a problem. I'm just thinking that this could *possibly* result in more personal messages on the board, and we all know how WC hates that.

A private message system was first implemented way back in June of last year. Me and WC worked on it a bit, and it worked, but the user interface was never usable.

A Miasma 2 private message system was planned to be completed back in February, but I think we just forgot about it or something. Maybe WC'll implement it soon, since I'm rarely online.

I'm on it like a dog on a females leg at a cocktail party!

*jealous of both female leg and messaging system*

Anyways, this is nifty. Hopefully it will be more successful than the interactive story thing, though.

Heh. I don't think anyone will be discussing atomic pillow fights via the messaging system.
