Title.

I don't recall when I first registered, but I've been somewhat active since '05. More active 2008 and onwards.

Before someone is gonna post "again?", I'm just gonna say that these kinda posts have always been and will always be.

And I joined somewhere in the end of 2005, started reviewing early 2006, and re-discovered the forums in mid-late 2006.

Probably around 1998.

Indeed... This, "how old are you" and "where are you from" are all threads that spawn again and again every few years.

My father found dink for me back then and helped me download dmods. I do remember the old dark design though.

Since then I've been playing dink back n' fourth all the time.

Ah, the dark design. Hehe, that, I believe was started sometime in 2002, and it had various different versions.

Back in the day... Well, not quite. I was here in the old theme, with the wooden boards on the side and the dark blue background, the same as the one that is *still* on the rules page. I can't give an exact date, but it would have been some time a few years ago... I remember because this was before MSN Groups shut down, and I was still in primary school, which was three years ago, so... four or so years? 2006 maybe?

I remember when you joined, Fireball. In fact, I remember almost when everyone joined lol. I believe you joined somewhere around april of 2007 or so.

Still got the activation email... 12th of March 2007

But lurked for a couple of months before that.

Sigh, I can't be certain of the exact date I joined cause TDN still had the old PM system back then, and it saved none of the PM's as far as I know.

EDIT: Speaking of which, I checked the old TDN and apparently Scratcher and Ducklord weren't fast enough to log out before the change cause they are still lurking there.

I may have joined some time around '07 or '08. I've completely forgotten.

I lurked the Download page from December the year prior to that post, I remember that. But yes, that was definitely my first post, before I also posted in a welcome thread by someone else and for whatever reason turned him away from Dink Smallwood and towards the glory of Runescape.
And his name was predator.

When was the current forum introduced then? I remember it being the banana themed bulletin board style at first, but I guess that was years before that even?

Kyle, if you want it completely accurate, the current forum's first post was posted on July 16th of 2002 at 10:13 by Dinkaholic.

I discovered these forums only about one or two years ago. I remember downloading some D-Mods from this site before FIAT originally came out - that was something like ten years ago or so.

I found this place while looking up an old game that my older brother once played, you can prolly guess the name of that game. It was... two, three years ago.

I think I first emerged on the forums circa early 2008, but I remeber downloading mods onto floppy-discs in the local library much earlier on.

The "Scratcher" and "Ducklord" lurking turned mysteriously into "DraconicDink" and someone else I can't remember. I swear, that site is messed up now after we left it.

What is the old site?

I've always been here from the beginning, silently observing the development of the Smallwood. I only revealed myself a year ago to try to offset the loss of certain members.

If the DN grows into a freakin'-obvious thriving community then I will slowly go back into obscurity, and watch your every word.

I visited the site every now and then in 2003, as I didn't have an internet connection at that time and visited at the internet cafe.
I lurked more often in 2004 and 2005 (got an internet connection).
I joined the site in about June, 2006.
I didn't post anything in the forums until October, 2006.

Mid-2005, I believe. Funny thing is, I haven't actually properly sat down to play a Dmod for maybe almost a year now...

I wouldn't call them rule breaks. Abandoning old accounts to open new ones isn't against the rules. Now using TWO or MORE accounts is against them. Take hell7fire1 (Chaos) for example. XD

I have yet to see any evidence that Chaos is Hellfire.

Yeah. A lot of newbs and Noobs have done the enter thing before. I think their typing styles are different. Almost doesn't quite cut it, though by your reasoning since you and Sparrowhawk have the same avatar...

I did indeed click that link, Scratcher posted a reply that Chaos=hell7fire1. This does not officially mark Chaos as Hellfire. And for the record, I oftentimes refer to hell7fire1 as Hellfire because it's much simpler. So how can I be a dick when I never even started an argument with you before now. You're trying to convince everyone else in this forum that you have indeed changed for the better. While the others saw your crap at first glance, I believed you. But, as each topic got steadily worse, I actually PMed you so you could at least attempt to give me something to respect you with. You lost your chance with your Skorn account. You failed with your Absolution account. We all are not trolls or people out to get you. You are the troll. You constantly berate the others for starting a seemingly useless topic that everyone likes and you label them off as donkeys because everyone else likes them better than you. I did that before, though only once and only because he was spam-messaging me massive lines of baloney. Which I think partially influenced Redink's decision to mute him, to which I personally support such an idea. Perhaps the only way Skorn will ever change is if he never visits the DN again. I'm sure it would be best for all of us.

Technically, each user is only supposed to have one account... Having more than one doesn't make sense anyway, except when the older one was banned or removed, in which case you actually shouldn't be making another account as that means you're not wanted.

At least you're behaving this time (except for your introduction with this account, which was horrible), so I don't actually see a problem with that this once.

I recognize times when it would be best not to argue further. But I will leave with this. Many people have different perspectives, I was only putting out mine. I don't care if everyone else thinks I'm crazy because of the way I saw things. I know that a lot of the times you had a negative comment about something, everyone hated you for it.

That is absolutely impossible, absolution. Not every post is a direct attack on you; a post about meringues isn't an attack on you and neither is a post which says "I like banana's. Just sayin'." Please get your facts straight.
