The Dink Network

My dink story started in 1998 when i BOUGHT :3 a original CD {lost it trough damages trough :[ }
I played it for the first time a week after pursache and enyoyed myself so much just the randomness combined with awsome RPG features caught me for weeks.
Then in 2005 i found a site with the downloads for the game + mods wich made me very happy for a few weeks again.
So now im here replaying the original dink again for the 5th time and gonna try some new mods too after it.

Nah, I think the idea behind it is that in the US, through their Summer they have a massive vacation, amirite?

@schnapper I don't know where you are, but here in Tassie it's ducking freezing so I'd rather be a bit closer to the equator right now. I should probably also put a jumper on, but I'm much too stubborn for that.

Failing at scripting isn't that bad thing. People are usually nice around here and don't pick too much about it. Just don't get in anyones face and people are usually able to come up with constructive criticism. Right guys?

How come these "hello, I'm new here" threads involve only two or three posts from the new guy in question? It's like what I do on Nowhere Else and Beyond where I join the chat using the pop-in "EvilEarl makes a cameo appearance" and then log out.

There's plenty of people (and documentation) 'round these parts if you ever feel like picking up scripting. Heck, even without scripting skills you could try to help others realize their Dmod in other ways, like art, ideas, scenario writing, sounds, music, even beta testing.

But, seriously speaking... Being able to know at least one scripting language, even if it's DinkC, may prove to be useful in the long run concerning your general skills with computers.
