Epochs & Aeons: Part One
This demo has a compelling mystery premise and the forest is quite atmospheric. It features two playable characters, which I thought was impressive from an author who must've been very green at the time (extra green for a leprechaun). It also has some annoying things: gameplay gimmicks like randomly slowing Dink down, the dialogue meanders sometimes, the tasks you have to do are unclear fetch quests and the scripting can break so that random sprites start getting deleted.
Wait, it's not a demo?! It's the first part of a longer adventure? Well, same difference. As the beginning of a bigger thing it does a good job setting the stage, but since the other parts don't exist beyond a script / dev file thingy for part two, it's rather meh.
