The Dink Network

The Dink Smallwood Quest Script Generator

Description
A demo version of the upcoming D.S. Quest Script Generator.
In this version the user will be able to make a basic dialogue (or even add custom script events) but nothing more. This version's goal is to show users the mechanics and how the full version of the program will work.

Things that will be included in the full version and are not present in the demo version:
- Normal mode supports scripts longer than 22 lines (however, the script mode is scrollable and supports scripts of unlimited length)
- Starting projects and linking scripts
- Lots of predefined events (operations with variables/values and sprite movement etc...)
- The possibility of continuing your work after closing the program.
- Opening other DinkC scripts.
- Lots of options (such as "hide warnings" & "syntax scan")
& more.

Feel free to suggest features and of course, report bugs. (this DEMO version might have some).
I don't know when the full version will be released... sometime soon I hope.

The Dink Smallwood quest script generator is a program which does the coding for you. Well, in theory. In practice, it means the program can do script functions like talk and freeze by letting the user pick the function without needing to type the code out.

This can be a real time saver. However, the supported functions and procedures are very limited (mostly to talk and freeze/unfreeze). That's to be expected from a demo, of course, and this file sure makes me want to see the full release. I really hope Patrunjelu comes through with this, because it has great potential and for me, would be candidate for development file of the year.

In short: a great albeit limited demo, I can't wait for the full release.
