Description
Shudinko is an alternate hero acting as a replacement for Dink made in the 3D rendering software Blender. I've used Iplaydink's blender shadow file which has been of tremendous help! I'd also like to thank Robj for fixing Shudinko's range where needed and creating the first draft of the quests and map.
Shudinko himself is based on the character "Shujinko" from the Mortal Kombat series, specifically Mortal Kombat Deception. (And by based I mean I ripped the model from the PSP game, changed the texture a bit and animated it
)
He's an agile ninja in training and has two attacks:
kicking - while kicking is equipped, he runs fast and attacks quite rapidly.
katana - he also has a katana which slows him down (and his animations show that. instead of running around with a sword in his hand, his walk animation and idle animation is a lot more cautious) but it deals more damage.
He also has all the basic animations dink has like dying, pushing and crawling in caves.
He doesn't have any magic animations since he's a rookie ninja, not a spellcaster or any bow animations since I was too lazy and who uses the bow anyways?!
However, if there is enough demand, I might have an attempt at giving him the ability to weild the bow or cast magic.
This is a very short Romp built around showcasing Shudinko, so there isn't much story.....but you can put him in one !

The Great:
Of course, the character. He is great. the kick graphics are very original, and so is Shudinko's speed. why is this?
Shudinko's speed is very fast while he walks. however, when he holds a sword he goes slower. this makes much sense and looks cool too. Shuji- I mean Shudinko! walking warily with a katana is so cool.
All graphics, the grasses, the house and the rest all fit together very well.
The Bad

The Good
It has a short storyline, some humor, although the game is too short for more than that.
I loved the two music tracks, they fit the situation very well.
To conclude, This is probably one of the best alternate characters i've seen. Sorry, The Best alternate character..
Only needs bow and magic graphics now. And continue the story of Shudinko!
