I love this file. I don't like savebots (or save points as other games call them) as being the only way to save, so this file is quite a boon to me. I use it with all dmods that I play.
The Good: It lets you save anywhere, and as Binirit said, that is useful for if the dmod author put in too few or no savebots.
The Bad: As Binirit states, it doesnt give a "game saved" notice. But this is a minor issue barely worth mentioning.
Overall: A very good and very worthwhile file.

Purpose: This file lets you save anywhere in a D-mod.
Installation: You have to copy the saveany.d file to the story folder and rename it to escape.d.
Use: Press escape when playing in order to save the game. The normal popup appears, but with an extra option so you can save.
Good: It works fine. It is a handy feature, since there are unfortunately a lot of D-mods that do not have enough savebots or even none at all. If you happen to run into a screenlock with a tough monster that kills you instantly and you had no change to save the game since the author did not put a savebot before the screenlock, you would have to play that part of the game all over. If you use this file, you can at least save the game.
