First of all the title: I expected there would be some forest in it, or at least a couple of trees to give the impression of a forest, but there was no forest at all.
Storyline: Almost non-existent; it is about a witch Dink has to kill.
Map and graphics: The map is nicely done. There are no new graphics, but the old ones are used in a new way; a signboard is not attached to a house, but to a pole, and when you kill a duck, it turns into an arrow.
Music: The music is very good; it makes you want to start the adventure (too bad there is not much of an adventure to start with).
Good: The humour and the original things in it; Dink gets all sort of things for free – who said that you have to pay for everything?
Not so good: Although you start with high lifemax, you do not have that much life. You do get more life after talking to a pig, but there are no options to heal; the ducks does not give any hearts and only one pillbug gave a heart. I prefer a savebot somewhere close to the beginning, at least before you run into some ducks that you think are harmless, but turn out to be enemies.
Overall: Some funny things in it – the conversation in the house – but apart from that a rather uninteresting D-mod.
Fit for: If you want to play a very short D-mod and do not mind the lack of storyline or gameplay.
