Dink has to repair a bridge.

Storyline and map: The task is simple, but the storyline is well worked out. The map is nicely made.

Graphics: The man in church wears a golden cross, the axe is gold too. The stonegiant has changed colour.

Music: It is alright, but it sounds familiar, like I've heard it before.

Good: The church definitely looks like one, but is made from different graphics then the church-graphic. The way to heal is different. It rains at first, which was nice to see. There are several surprises in it: the dragon scene is nice, as is the fact that the man who wants the axe isn't where you expect him to be. The cave entrance and cave look very good and the sprites inside make it more challenging. The endfight was different from other endfights; a nice change. There are in some houses separate bedrooms where you can't do anything, and at first that seems strange, but then you realise those are there because the people need to sleep too, so that gives it a realistic touch.

Not so good: After an intensive search for a savebot, dying a couple of times and therefore having to start all over again, I discovered you can save by just pressing the esc-button. It would have been nice if that was mentioned in the game (just for the sake of those who sometimes don't go through the readme.file before starting the game - like me with this D-mod!). Furthermore some small hardness-errors in the weapon-house, and there is not very much conversation going on.

Remark: I have no clue why the title is Dink Blackwood, since there is no reference made in the game to this surname. The author states that this D-mod is about a duck-farming-boy on a parallel planet, but no references are made to that either. The title: Dink has to fix a bridge, would have given a better idea about the contents.

Overall: An enjoyable D-mod.

Fit for: If you want to play a short, but nice D-mod.
