This is a decent dmod. Nothing really stands out about it though. It's really good for a romp. I think I spent like 45 minutes on it.

The story is okay. Nothing that hasn't been done before though. It's one of the Dink has to kill an ancient stories. There's not a whole lot of depth to it. You probably won't be able to immerse yourself into it.

The map is also okay. There are a lot of stat potions around the map. Maybe one to every four screens or so. It'd be nice if they were hidden a bit better, but that's not to say there aren't any secrets. Because there's like one or two. There are some screens I really enjoyed, but not many. There weren't any new graphics that I'm aware of.

The music wasn't awful, but there were some areas that lacked music. Also, most of the warp sounds used the default door creak. Which doesn't really make sense when walking up stairs or traversing a portal of fire.

The combat was pretty easy. Maybe because of all the potions, or because I found a lightsword pretty early on. Either way, I wasn't adequately challenged. The only enemy with any semblance of a special attack was the final boss, though I'm pretty sure it's combat prowess was simply pulled from a dragon script in the original game's darklands.

It's nothing special, but it's decent.
