Hey I'm new here on Dink network, and new to dink smallwood itself. So I'm learning how to create my own D-Mods, but its very difficult and all.
I'm quite sure I'll have a lot of problems, so I'll be posting them all here, and please help if you can.
Starting with my first problem -
As given in the stickied thread, I'm goin' through a few tuts given through the game, and understanding most of them, but one thing I don't understand yet - OK, I'll make all the scripts and all, but how do I add them in my Dink game? I know there's a separate file given, dinkedit.exe, and I tried it, but I don't understand how to work with it... There's a screen to add sprites to any part of the map, but when I do that, save and run the game, they're just there as some pictures!! I mean, they LOOK like they're there, but you can walk through them, and can't even examine or use any of them...
Oh and also how do I edit the sprites? i can't find any .bmp files of the Dink stuff in the folder...
