The only pets I've ever had were dogs, which I love, and I absolutely loathe cats. I think I may have had a bird when I was very young, I don't remember how it died, though.
Anyways, I seem to have gotten back on topic, we'll have to fix that:
Really, I'm not against animal rights, but I don't believe that animals oare equal to humans, or even close: For instance, I was reading a forum once, where this guy had apparently tortured and killed a puppy (Australia, if I remember correctly, which I probably don't). The premise was that he should have to receive the maximum penalty, which was somewhere between 2 and 3 years, and I couldn't remember what the fine was. Entirely justified, right? However, I was reading it, and most of the people posting were saying stuff like, we should cut off HIS legs, and see how he likes it. I was all WTF, lol? So my cousin trolled them. Your thoughts?
TL;DR: An eye for an eye when it comes to animals-humans: Completely ridiculous.
PS: Furries are bad, too.
