And why would he start a topic that asked for responses with no intentions on keeping up with it? 
I imagine that the MVP system I proposed would cause a lot of unnecessary extra work as opposed to putting a few members on the staff. Whether it's a good idea or not isn't the real question. The real question is that how would he find the time to establish this system, seeing how he already doesn't have the time to frequently moderate the site.
And as for future staff members, I think that RedInk1 already had a few choices in mind. There are plenty of responsible members that have been areound for a good while and continue to remain active.
