I see great injustice here, as there are certain posters (I will not name them, they know who they are) that make people angry and complain and never get any of their posts deleted. In a real life situation it is sort of like the mayor and his cronies can commit any crime they dang well please, but if you look at them the wrong way, then they will lock you away.
I designed this message board to eliminate these sorts of problems. The staff only have two powers, and both of them are really limited.
1) Delete messages. Except, anyone can see these deleted messages, and any other staff member can undelete such a message. The horror, the horror.
2) Locking topics. The topics still exist for anyone to read, and any other staff member can unlock a topic.
Additionally, as the webmaster, from time-to-time I've gone through the hassle (I didn't make it easy) of modifying a few message posts where appropriate (to remove inappropriate links or to eliminate page-widening posts). I've also banned a few users for inappropriate behavior, such as making threats against the web site or continuing to post 20 new topics a day without listening to anyone asking them to stop.
