Infinitely interesting. Did you happen to notice the thread was on downloading massive files with dialup?
Back in the dialup days, I had this nice program GetRight.. you could pause downloads, so it might be nicer than leaving it on overnight or something. Don't know if it works in this particular case, some programs seem to want to be downloaded only by some odd links on their site and you just can't find the link to the *file*.
